(More customer reviews)The fridge-to-go is an amazing invention! This bag has ice packs sewn directly into each wall of the bag and it really works great. It stays cool for much longer than any other ice pack I've used. I pop the bag in the freezer at night and its ready to go by morning.
I purchased this item because I am a breastfeeding mom with a full time job. I needed a way to store and transport pumped breastmilk and this is the BEST solution. With the fridge-to-go bag I can pump my milk into bottles and keep them in the bag for up to 12 hours. I love that I can keep the bag out on my desk and I no longer have to store my milk in the public fridge at work.
It really does stay cool for a long time. I was nervous at first because a mother's milk is precious cargo, but after the first use I was convinced. I never have to worry that my milk will spoil on a hot day when I get stuck in traffic. I know this bag will keep it protected. If I have to run a few errands before getting home or to the sitters I don't have to worry about finding a fridge to keep my milk in first. I am confident that this bag will keep it cool the entire time I am out. Its also great for long trips where you want to bring along an extra bottle for the baby just in case you need it.
This bag is a must have for all moms with infants. If you transport milk or formula you can finally feel safe that its going to stay fresh. No wondering how long its been sitting out, no wondering if your trip has run too long.
Another bonus is the bag makes for a wonderful lunch bag too. After your baby has grown up you won't have to put this bag into storage. It has SO many wonderful uses! It also has a lot of nice pockets. It will easily fit 3 (6oz) baby bottles in its cool compartment, then it also has a spot for your cellphone, an additional zippered pocket to hold a slim wallet and keys, and a front pocket for extra items too. It could easily double as a small purse along with your baby's bottles. Very convenient!
The bag is also very durable. Its made of very strong fabic and you never have to worry that it will break, rip, or tear. The arm strap is adjustable too so it will fit almost any situation perfectly.
