(More customer reviews)Fougera A+D is what the hospital used to treat my moderate facial wounds after jaw surgery. They sent me home with extra packets for reapplication. It was the best thing for pain and protection. As soon as it would wear off, I could feel the burning of wound exposure so I'd reapply and ahhh, relief! Later, I found that it has also worked better with soothing and healing the soreness of severely chapped skin and cuts than the other OTC A+D ointments, lotions, or creams. Recently, I rubbed my nose and upperlip so very raw as a result of a bad cold and marathon nose blowing and Fougera A + D is the only treatment that did not burn upon application. It made my upper lip greasy lookin but I just dabbed it lightly with tissue to lessen the shine when at the office. Mostly it was just nice to have some relief and healing!
NOTE: Careful, as with all products with petrolatum, do not use on FRESH burns!
