(More customer reviews)I first used this product in Italy when my daughter was bunged up with mucus from a cold. To be honest, they don't used the bulb ones there so I didn't know any better. Then when I came to the States and my son was born the only thing I had was the bulb syringe they gave me in the hospital and I missed my nasal aspirator. It's much easier to see when you've "extracted" the mucus, and then you control the amount of suction. It's not disgusting - maybe the idea of it might be off-putting, but my guess is that any parent/caregiver would try it if it's easier to use and comforts their little one during the mucusy head colds.
